I Have a Coyote In the Neighborhood

I have a whole pack of them around where I live! I hear them at night sometimes, howling and yipping like crazy. Sometimes I'll hear only one howling very early in the morning, waking me up. I've yet to actually see any of them but sometimes they sound real close! I just hope they never get anyone's pets. 🙁

Wow I didn't know they were there. There are a lot in Arizona. Does it scare you when they howl at night? It usually means they made a kill....

@sirjames: No, not from the safety of my home. Coyote attacks on humans are extremely rare anyway, they're more likely to run away if they see a person nearby.

@Tulips: Yes, they only pray on children and women, so we keep them in doors here when the sun goes down. Yes, if you run towards them, they will flee. Same goes for dogs
