I Love the Country Life

this is my type of life country living,i have lived in a small town all my life,a place where everything is in walking distance a place where the shopkeepers know everyone.what makes it a great place is i live by a creek which is very nice as well,cause it is so quite here you can hear the creek run on the quite days.i like going outside and taking in the silence of country life and having a porch to sit on drinking iced tea in the summer that is living life.

This made me homesick. I lived in the country most of my life. For twenty years I lived in a county that did not have a single stoplight. There was a creek that bordered our six acres and sang to us, along with the peepers and the bullfrogs.

I now live in a city in the high desert, and I love it here too, but it's been years since I heard the song of a creek.

@pagandad Foxes barking and the occasional spine-freezing yowl of a bobcat. Wind in the leaves. The slap of a fish jumping for a dragonfly.

The country is not quiet, but the music is far more tuneful.
