i hate the movie cliche where a girl puts down her glasses and suddenly she is a beauty... glasses can look great

It's a good point. I think geek-chic has kind of make glasses ok thought right? as long as you're very pretty underneath them... I mean like... even ugly betty was hardly a minger (as we call them in uk).
