I Write Bad Poetry

There is no polite way to inflict a wound
If there were, I'd save it for you
This has been a long time coming
Growing, writhing, seeping through
Now my beginning surely means our end
With this I say goodbye my friend

There is no kind way to break a heart
No escape from numbing pain
I've considered every outcome,
Tried to shield you in vain
Now is the time to leave you behind
To erase you from every corner of my mind

There is no sweet way to abandon a love
No clean way to sever all ties
I could say that it hurts me just as much...
Just more senseless lies
Now I run away from you once more
Honoring what these sacrifices were for

There is no nice way to say goodbye
Not when saying it to you
The words can come out of my mouth
But not one of them will be true
Now I say farewell forever
We will not meet again.
Never.

I am a serious person. lol. This poem was meant to be a light-hearted goodbye. Didn't expect it to come out like this... with this much anger.

@Lullacus: Okay! Just throw out whatever it is. You feel light inside after Vent
