I Do Not Understand Homophobics

I'm straight as an arrow, but I just cannot see any sound-minded, logical reason to hate anyone from the LGBT community for their sexuality.

I have plenty of gay friends who are nice people who live normal lives like any other human beings, and I've dated bisexual women.

Sexuality in general isn't a choice, it's something that you're born with, and it can change involuntarily.

Homosexuality has been confirmed in over 3,000+ mammals, yet homophobia, and overall hatred towards LGBT is in only one species, which is human.

Marriage also isn't just one man and one woman either. Pagans created marriage, and they had both heterosexual and LGBT marriage as well.

I once ran into someone who called homosexuality a form of bioterrorism and wished a genocide on homosexuals and anyone of the LGBT community.

He also acts as if straight people are now being persecuted by the LGBT community when really, the LGBT community is tired of the persecution and discrimination they have to take on a daily basis for something that isn't even their choice, and want equal rights.

He's Christian by the way.

Christians are funny people. Many believe that homosexuality is a disease and that we'll have catch it. Some believe that homosexuality is like being a pedophile. Non of this is true. Christians have killed more homosexuals than anybody, through suicide. Let's not forget about their "pray the gay away" bs. Or these ex gay ministries where these people who are gay, claim to not be gay anymore. And what about the whole exorcism that is suppose to remove this "gay demon" out of them. It's nothing more than abuse. The whole thing is completely f'd up. This is one reason why I left Christianity. I can't be a part of something that does nothing but do harm to people, just because they are different, or because they do not agree. The God that I believe in, would never hurt anybody. I support LGBT. I always have and always will.

As a kid, I was always told that homosexuality was wrong. That it was a poison. I never seen or met a homosexual. It wasn't until I turned 15, when I met a gay guy. He was cool as hell. And in my eyes, I didn't see anything wrong with him. He was a human being just like me. My daughter, who will be 5, is familiar with homosexuals. I have a cousin who is gay and she adores him. And she doesn't hate anybody. Her heart is so big. People may see that as a problem because they might turn her gay. If my kid is gay, she's gay. If she's straight, she's straight. Nobody can turn you gay. You are naturally born gay.

When I state that I fully support LGBT rights, Christians automatically assume that I'm gay myself. Like I said before, I'm straight, but there's no reason to why the LGBT community has to be persecuted and/or discriminated against. Homophobia is more of a disease than anything.

I agree that homophobia is more of a disease than anything, because they promote hate. It's like racist people. They promote hate too. I've never heard of them thinking someone is gay because they support LGBT. But I wouldn't be surprised. I've heard them say that "you're going to hell" if you support LGBT. The most insane one I've heard is that marijuana causes homosexuality lol. There are a lot of funny ones out there.

I still find the claim that homosexuality is a form of bioterrorism is the most laughable one. It's just way too stupid and ridiculous to take seriously.

Especially when they don't have any medical back ground. All they are doing is harm to innocent people.

Yeah that whole bioterroism is ridiculous. They just want to be happy like everybody else. LGBT is not hurting anybody.
