I Had Surgery

Update to my posts yesterday:

Surgery today went ok- there was a complication and they were not able to do the main procedure so I don't know what will happen next. I was hoping to get the major med stuff in since I met my deductible - looks like 2019 is headed that way too.

My team member I thought was going to be fired resigned today and so did one of my fellow managers- one who has undermined me continually and though this transition will be challenging, it's all for the best. Onward and upward.

Thanks for the good thoughts and prayers.

Back to bed.

What? They didn't do the main procedure? And now that surgery will be postponed to next year...damn! I hope they bill the insurance fellows under this cycle!

Talk to them and see.

@Vivaci There were 3 parts to it to my understanding and the one that would possibly be a long-term solution could not be done because of an issue they found. So there was surgery but not all components. I'm gutted about it and concerned because what they found should not be going on. I have tons of questions.
@abooklover That's so usual with these buggers! You know my uncle had a knee replacement surgery and apparently they put in a short size and he's like 6 feet tall...and he started limping afterwards. Be very careful and check with them bout the size, make, ethnicity of the artificial knee . Even I didn't know this all was important!

@Vivaci 0h my. Though I have a knee injury, this surgery was not for that and was planned before the knee injury. That's another reason I'm frustrated, I had to deal with one thing before moving onto the next and my HSA is probably going to get blown next year by freaking April!
@abooklover That's what I'm speculating as well....oh damn! Why don't you talk to the doctor and see if he can bill you this cycle for majority of the bill....that'll ease a bit of your best quarter....
