I Think The Cane Should Be Bought Back Into The School System

Simpler and far cheaper.

There was a time a time when the cane was thought to be the answer to every ill common to youth. And yes, it was easy because there was no need to engage with the issue. There was no reduction in smoking, relationships or anything else as far as I remember. It did however, increase fear, the tendency to lie (to avoid the punishment) and made for a general distancing between those who might have helped navigate the tricky waters of adolescence and those doing the navigating. However, it was of its time and was generally accepted so let's not re-write history while at the same time acknowledging that we are in a different age.

I saw some reports of that, many seem to differ with a few saying the Headmaster will ask first and talk to parents. So sad surely learning about relationships is what we may well expect youngsters to do and it need not hamper or distract from school studies.

I do not all the Human Rights laws well, but if nothing else surely this impinges upon the rights of these teens.

It would be a lot pervier to cane them all, and what right does he have to say who can and cannot be in a relationship?
