it has little to do with ancestry or inherited wealth and more to do with integrity, decency , and honor. That is my opinion anyway.

Yes, I missed “honor.” Whatever the ancestry, is she honorable? Same for a gentleman. @TexChik

You know it when you see it, but in short, she respects herself, has integrity, and is a decent human being. Makes mistakes too, but accepts this with grace.
