I don't understand all the furore over the defeat of the last ISIS stronghold in Syria. This is by far not the end of ISIS as a terrorist organisation. As was proved when the global political establishments believed they had defeated Al Quida. Another group emerges to replace the defeated one

True, and it wasn’t resolved the last several times Trump claimed ISIS was “defeated” or was soon going to be. 16 times in the last 95 days. But his supporters will believe whatever he says, so he doesn’t have to be credible, apparently. It’s all nationalist flag-waving, anyway. 😒
