I Am Prone to Inappropriate Laughter

I remember when I was about 11 in the last year of primary school we had a part-time teacher I was trying to read this book and somehow my friend and I got the giggles. The teacher really was no nonsense and after warning us once summoned us out to the front of the class. She put her book down and told us one after the other to bend over her knee, in which position we both receive three resounding smacks on our knickers. My friend went first and squealed as the smacks landed before being banished to the corner. Then it was my turn for a very close view of the floor of the classroom as my bum was lit up as well. Unfortunately the teacher kept me over her knee while she imparted a moral to the class and they gave me another couple of smacks before letting me.
I was then sent to the opposite corner of the room and my friend and I stood there with our noses to the wall. I was wondering why I got the two extra smacks but the teacher perhaps guessed I was the chief perpetrator which I probably was.
The teacher droned on with her reading but with our two bums stinging our laughter was finished for the day!
