I Would Love To Live On My Own Private Island

If you really want to live on a tropical island that’s control entirely by yourself, then yes, it is possible – in the virtual multi-user metaverse of Second Life.
We have been living on our own island for a long time and all the visitors who come to the island have to follow our rules.

That's awesome
And what are some of these rules and who is we

@pdockal "We" is my partner in SL and I. We have very few rules other than visitors need to behave in a civilised manner and leave their clothes on their boat!

@Glossy that's awesome
Does one need an invite to the island

@pdockal it's possible to install a "security guard" that monitors and ejects anyone who isn't on your white list. But most islands owners don't bother. You can also eject someone manually from your own private property, if you want.
