I Remember The Day My Daughter Was Born

As a photographer, I hear this a lot, it is a special moment for dads. And that moment grows everyday. I enjoy capturing the innocence of young girls for the memories of their dads because they keep growing up.

@justpeaceandlove Unfortunately you don't have a whole heck of a lot of say in the matter. ;)

Grandparenting has got to be the best, you get to give the child back, lol

Moms too, but the bond is different, you carry the child for 9 months, you already have something. When a dad is handed the bunlde of joy, it truely breaks his heart with joy.

I already know the song I plan to dance to with my daughter when she gets married. This brings a tear anytime I hear it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pg8Z69B6RFQ

Then they have babies of their own. Fortunately I only have one grandchild for now. He's more like a son. I never wanted to be a grand parent till I was in my 70's. :) That's just me.

@Toyman that's funny and true but still. :)

@Photo that's what the norm seems to be but I was only 46 when he was born. Way too young... :)

Besides everyone thought he was my son so I went with it... Lol

Kids are very special regardless. But I do have to admit..daughters have a special place in our hearts.
