so randomly sometimes ill be talking to some one then there profile pic will go blank with a big red X whats that about ??

They deactivated their account, they were banned, or the blocked you. Clicking on their profile should tell you. Either "this user is no longer a member" which means deactivated or banned, or "you are not allowed to contact this user" which means blocked.
