My son is gifted

My 14 year old son got a Yamaha keyboard for his birthday last year and he is self taught! I just sat outside of his window listening to him play the piano! And I'm like OMGoodness! He is a genius such beautiful music! I want to get him a better piano the one that he wants by the end of the year! And lessons but he truly is gifted! You would think that a kid his age likes rap or rock or pop music? Not him his favorite type of music is classical piano! I love my son! My little Mozart!

I was a natural on keyboards. My parents bought a 4 octave organ for my 9th birthday, and I couldn't learn fast enough. They bought me idk how many songbooks (mostly old standards) that I blew through them in a day or two. I discovered popular music (aka rock and roll) when I was 10. I learned songs from the radio by ear. When my parents learned I wanted to play rock and roll one day the organ just disappeared. I learned how to play guitar instead (my dad took lessons & I was still better than him. That was my revenge.
