I Love Women Pied In Business Suites

Gotta love that, knowing they've been utterly humiliated AND had their suits ruined!

@BizSuitStacy I do not make a habit of this but I had one experience recently.

I have been wearing skirt or dress suits or coat and dress sets on an everyday basis for the past year. I went through my last year of HS that way and I LOVED the look and, especially, the thrill I felt going about in them.

This summer I have been working as an intern in my aunt's firm and, of course, I go in my suits. Before I got my driver's license about a month ago I often took the bus home, which stopped about two blocks away from home. I felt particularly "dressy" one day and wore my new long-skirted silk suit and heels. During my bus ride there was a thunder shower. I had forgotten my rain gear and was worried about being caught in it getting my suit drenched.

I should mention I am generally very fussy about my appearance. I shuddered at the thought of having that happen to my beautiful new suit.

But as luck would have it the rain stopped just as the bus was approaching my stop.

Feeling quite relieved I proceeded the last two blocks. Before the last block there was a dip in the road where it passes over a creek. But the creek had flooded and the road was now a muddy lake!

I thought I could go back a block and take another way home, but then I heard thunder approaching. It would take too long to get to the house before the next downpour. I would have to go through that lake and try keep my silk suit intact.

Whenever I face a stressful situation like this I pause and I primp. I gave my hair a quick combing, refreshed my lip gloss and checked to see that my outfit was immaculate. Whatever would happen I would face it looking my most fabulous!

I wasn't sure how deep the water was so I gathered my flared ankle-length skirt to just above my knees and proceeded to wade in. I kept my heels on because I thought the extra lift from the 4" stilettos would help.

With each step the lake deepened - ankle deep ... mid-calf deep ... almost to my knees. I was half-way through and I hiked the skirt higher when ...

I couldn't feel anything solid underfoot!

I was sinking!

In a flash I was completely in the water! My new suit!

Ordinarily I thought I would have been quite upset.

But a strange sensation radiated through me. It was actually quite sensuous feeling the cold water saturating that sumptuous silk fabric and immersing me. My skirt billowed and my jacket floated on the muddy surface as I waded through to the other side.

I knew I looked a mess but somehow it seemed so special.

I may try to dress up for the next downpour.
I'm more into wetlook and swimming fully clothed, but would love to be covered in pies dressed in my business suit.
