I Love Movies That Make Me Think About Life
Nobody's daughter Haewon (Hong Sang-Soo, Korea, 2013)

A girl is depressed after her mother has left for Canada. She decides to meet again a professor she dated time ago. They run into her classmates and their relationship is revealed.
A few weeks ago I wrote about another Hong's movie, A hotel by the river. He has little by little become of my favorite current directors. I wrote then that there is almost no action in his films and a lots of things happen. I could say exactly the same about this film. Average people with their average fears and their average human imperfections. Different characters, different places, the same alcohol, the same weaknesses.
