I Just Want to Make the Right Choices In Life
On my best days I wake up and pray. I ask God to help me make good choices. I then say out loud.
1. I choose to love my wife today. To tell her, but to find at least two ways to act out that love in a meaningful way.
2. I choose to show love to those in my circle by listening at least twice as long as I talk and to say two things as often as appropriate; first “I am sorry “ and second, “I don’t know”.
3. I choose to serve as many people as possible.
4. I choose to put more value into my place of employment then I take out on payday.
5. I choose to avoid talking negatively about myself or others.
6. I choose to repay those who hurt me with kindness.
7. I choose to try to encourage whenever possible on SW or in person.
8. I choose to be honest with my thoughts and weakness even to my detriment
9. I choose to value every person whose path I cross.
When I consciously make this choice verbally, I cannot describe how wonderful my day is and how blessed I feel. When I neglect to make these choices, I cannot describe how pitiful and disappointing of a person I become.
I wish I failed less often.
