Sometimes... especially when I know that I don't always get notifications on my tags... 鈽癸笍

@HootyTheNightOwl If you tag someone (and it is not a direct reply), they only get a notification if they follow you. 馃槬
@Classified I hadn't connected the reason behind it, but I did notice that I was finding appreciation threads that I hadn't been notified of for some reason.

I'm guessing that I must have become friends with the people who made the threads after their creation... 馃檪

@HootyTheNightOwl People wrote appreciation threads for you? That's awesome 馃ぉ
@Classified Yes, I have three so far and they were all made at times when I was struggling with depression... then I was told that at least one was spammed by one of my haters - which kind of killed the mood a bit for me.

I was eventually able to get the comments removed from that thread but I've been on the fence about appreciation threads since then.

I know that I have the hater blocked, but I don't think that it's fair that my friends should have to have the shine taken off something nice that they did for me by an individual who can't get past their hate of me.

@HootyTheNightOwl There could always be someone trying to do that. Best to respond with a quick block from the post starter. Then the post stays clean.
@Classified Reporting them and making a post highlighting the abuse seems to be very effective in this case, too.

@HootyTheNightOwl Yes, but that can take a while if the mods have a lot of reports to process.
@Classified That's why I eventually made the story to highlight my problem - the comments were still there months after the fact... 馃き

@Classified It entertained me for a while, anyway... 馃槅

@HootyTheNightOwl That's a good way to deal with it. 馃構
