Do you have a Roku TV?

And, did you hear the news, that the YouTube app might be going away? The last thing I read, was that the YouTube app would be gone so that you would no longer be able to add it to your Roku TV. BUT, I also read about it "disappearing" from your Roku device.

So, if talks fail between google and Roku, does the YouTube app vanish from your device, or how would that work exactly?

I have Roku, Apple, and Fire devices. What they would do is disable the app, so it would appear in your channel list with "not available" instead of the logo.
I have one. We'll see. I can't imagine bit being down for long of it does happen

@Azlotto i seldom...like in never 😄
I do have Roku, but I hadn’t heard that about YouTube. Interesting.
@bijouxbroussard I hadn't heard it either but these things happen all the time. Every once in a while once side will leak that "talks aren't progressing" To get a deal. and at the last minute a new deal is done and no change to programming.

Dish network and fox went through this same thing constantly about 10ish years ago.
