She found out I am flying in after my dad’s birthday and she wants to drive 4 hours to see me. I dont know whether to be happy about it or sad all over again for allowing her yet another opportunity to hurt me.

@SW-User it's okay once I reached mid 20s I just didn't make that effort anymore, then he contacted my sister when I turned 40 wanting to get to know me, I told him I'm afraid that ship sailed.

Sounds like you already agreed to meet up..I think i did that 3 times to an ex once (allowed her back) and everytime it ended up the same, you just cant change someones character..😣
