I Love Cooking For People I Love
I live on a busy farm and for some reason I am always expected to do the cooking. Probably because I like it! I do help on the farm but at busy times my job is in the kitchen. 24 hours a day at lambing and shearing! Now is between the two!
Tonight I made chicken curry. We had, well I made, roast chicken last week. This is using the last bits. I fry onions and put in the chicken. I add the carrots next so they can soften. Then I put loads of Madras curry powder on. Because I love hot curry! But it goes sticky very quick so I have gravy ready to pour in. Then apples and finally mushrooms because you can overcook mushrooms. They only need a minute!
And we just had the curry with mashed potato and broccoli. Or is it brocolli? I have no idea. They both look as wrong as each other!
