I fish too. I wouldn't eat tuna because there populations are diminishing. Plus, they migrate passed Japan, and after the nuclear disaster of 2011, the tuna that made it to California had cesium isotopes, "not enough to cause a threat to humans ". Not worth rhe risk

Well, yes you don't eat whales. That would be about the most disgusting thing any human could do and nothing I'd expect from you. We certainly couldn't hang out if you did.
I love salmon, cod makes a great fish taco. i also like halibut.

I like fishing but I don't catch all the fish I eat. I avoid tuna because they are almost extinct and very high in the food web, I would not eat whale either, or seals. I never eat eel either, though I really like smoked eel, but they are extremely overfished. But I do eat salmon and cod... even though they are not doing that well. Both salmon and cod are fished locally.

Agreed. Yeah flat-fish are nice, they are usually a bit pricey here though so I don't have it too often :) I sort of wanted to try a fish taco now, I have never had that, sounds tasty :)

Dolimyte: no the ethical part of not eating meat is not my reason, it is a bit of a bonus but I just really dislike meat that is not from marine animals.
