Maybe you’re the type to just have FWB’s. That way, you don’t risk yourself being emotionally vulnerable to someone. Maybe you’re afraid to get hurt yourself.
But the thing is, you need to let these women know that, especially if they’re the type to get emotionally attached.

@marsbar I don't think there's anything wrong with FWB as long as both parties are honest about what they want and expect.
The problem is that some people think they only want FWB, but they inevitably develop feelings for the person.

@marsbar when I attempt to level with women and make myself emotionally available it doesn't interest them.
I seem to only be able to capture a woman's intrigue through unsavory tactics. I dont know why.

@SW-User I understand. I’ve had a few myself.
Yes, feelings can develop which then causes complications.
Thankfully no romantic feelings have ever developed on my part. A lot also depends on the guy’s personality. Some just don’t have BF qualities, so it’s easier to keep things as is.

@SW-User So you are capable of emotionally connecting with someone then?
There are some women who like bad boys. Maybe you have that side to you that attracts these women.

@marsbar It hasn't happened to me either, but I am gay and I often wonder if the dynamics of guy-guy relationships are different from guy-girl in this case (that, based on my straight friends' experiences, the woman develops feelings more often). Just anecdotal of course.

@SW-User Damn, you’re gay? Why are the cute ones always gay?😅
I would agree that often times women do develop feelings for guys in FWB relationships. Although one guy I was with started to get jealous, so that complicated things.
