Don't feel obligated to change how you are just bc some people don't like it or see it differently than you do. Just be prepared for backlash from a-holes that like to bash stuff like this. Honestly if someone doesn't like it then why comment something ignorant towards the person about it, I just go (on some really weird ones) eh, not my kind of thing and click off.
