Stepmom woes #81: my stepdaughter is so distraught on facebook because her boyfriend broke up with her, I clearly dont know what to say...she's a typical teenage girl that is melodramatic..so I just told her "maybe you should just binge watch netflix"

Not the best answer, distraction can get them through a day but healing is what's needed. Reassurance and love from family and perhaps good company of friends who have similar experiences
