I Am a Stepmother

I am struggling again to like her. I always remind myself of all the positive things about her. I hold onto to those things because it has to be the right thing to do. She's just a kid right? So she takes my things and ruins them. She lies for attention. She claims to be the best at everything she tries. She tries to get her dad mad at me. She can be emotionally and physically mean to her 5 year old sister (SD is 12). She talks rude to adults. Invites herself everywhere. Fakes being injured. Steals things. She is also very creative. A very hard worker when she wants to be. Athletic and motivated. Likes to help. She really is a good kid underneath it all.
