Since I was a kid

The 5th of November every year when I was a kid, there was a big bonfire and loads of crackers, the kids use to call it cracker night, it was officially Guy Fawkes Night, the adults would let off the shy rockets, and we all loved them, they were my first exposure to fireworks

Brings back Good memories there.
I lived in a Valley town surrounded, 360 degrees by hills. Bon Fire night saw up to 20 blazing fires surrounding the town.
We would start to build huge piles of fallen trees at least a month before the night.
So many crackers, some rather large ones, quite dangerous really, though I do not recall any major injuries.
