There was something I wanted to tell you tonight - something that I wanted to tell you the night I said that I missed you. You have made me happier in this year than I have been in the longest time - it feels as if it was a lifetime.
This year has had ups and many downs, but the single greatest highlight was you. Seeing you again that first time made my heart skip a beat, and the time I have spent with you since has felt too short. Time has flown, but each moment spent with you is not wasted.
Time froze in a way when I thought you would leave again - but you stayed. It still feels like a dream sometimes: that I will wake up and you will be out of reach again; that everything stayed unspoken and the distance between us still seems as vast as it did before.
This year seems to have flown by so quickly. And in all this time, I still have so much to say and to do. I never thanked you for coming back, or for staying. But you being here has made me indescribably happy. I thank you my love - you are dear to me. You are precious, and I am yours as long as you will have me.
