I Stopped Cutting

I know people who cut and were nearly kicked out of their house for it. Like, isn't that the opposite of what their parents should do? If someone is so broken that they are intentionally hurting themselves, why would the parents think it's a good idea to kick them out and let them deal with it on their own?

That is the opposite of what they should do.. Maybe they think it will make them aware of some sort of self preservation if they have to fend for themselves? Resulting in them not cutting anymore?
