I Miss Dad
Happy Father’s Day to all those Dads here on SW!
My dad has been gone 14 years, but I still miss him every day.
He was a great father. He didn’t give material things much, but he gave wisdom & love ... that’s worth more than anything.
As I shop in the stores today, I pass lots of items I used to pick for his father’s day presents... ties, shoes.. his favorite cookies... He only wanted us to be together & he’d always fuss at me for getting him a little happy-present on this day.
... What I’d give just to be able to hug him again!
