I Have Been ' Blocked '

In my last post, I was talking about how people seem to think it's okay to be racist against white people these days and mentioned that one the racist things commonly said about whites is that they have it easier than most. One person who commented on that post addressed that point and said that although white people can experience hardships but that it doesn't mean they still don't experience it the same way people of color do or that it isn't "a little easier for them". I asked them if that really matters because that is still a racist generalization about white people. Regardless if it's grounded in truth or not, it's still a blanket statement about all white people that isn't entirely true so no, of course it doesn't matter! I think that person realized this and that's why they blocked me. I guess some people don't take kindly to their points being refuted, even if they really are wrong.

No, many don't like it when you won't agree with them and they block.😔 This one woman said there were no stories here, I just said "yes there is" and she blocked me?!😁
@Peaches That's just crazy!

@PerchingDove I know. Politics, race, and religion are the most difficult subjects to discuss on line. I don't get into much of it unless it's someone I know.
It is very hard to experience what a person of color differs especially when we have a president like our current one. He tortures those from “shithole” countries. If you don’t believe it I have no problem searching up some very young children severely distressed by their separation from their mothers and some still separated.
Historically there is the Civil Rights legislation in 1965 where people of color were allowed to vote but even that is being ignored by our current president and Law Enforcement.

If you read through some of the most polarizing topics posted here, it happens often.

At least, it's one way to avoid wasting time on people seeking validation instead of discussion or even agreeing to disagree.

Easier to block than it is to question your opinions

White people do not and have not ever experienced oppression like people of color. Ever.

Hardship and oppression are two entirely different subjects and experiences.

@Complexconfessions Last I checked, yes.
