I loved more than her
I cared more than her
I was nicer than her
I was sweeter than her
But all you cared about was her

I listened when she didn’t
I helped when she couldn’t
I was loyal when she wasn’t
And I was there when she left
Still all you cared about was her

I kept the latter you send to her
I saw the gift you bought for her
I know about the trip you took to be with her
But not once did you say “Happy birthday” to me
All you cared about was her

I watched as you kissed her
Looked away when she kissed you
And when it all ended
I felt how it changed you
She was all you cared about

You were less loving to me
You cared less about me
You stopped being nice to me
You stopped being sweet to me
Seemed like all you cared about was her

I hope you undestand it had to end
I hope you understand why I had to leave
I hope you know that 9 years won't be forgoten in 1
I hope to be forever somewhere in you
And I hope someday you can be happy with her
