I Am Celtic

I was born in Yorkshire and never thought that I could possibly be Celtic. I believed that Celtic was synonymous with Scotish and Irish natives. I was drawn to the Celtic culture, but always felt like an outsider. Several years ago a friend of mine wanted to go to a psychic fair, I took her, thinking I would browse the booths and wait for her. I had this urge to go get a reading.... Very weird, but I went with it. I was extremely cautious not to give any information that the reader could use. She asked me about the mountains that I lived by. I don't! She said well you did. I wouldn't have called them mountains, but high hills yes.
I listened to this lady talk about my Celtic heritage.. I went home and did some research, turns out the largest Celtic tribe in Britain made its home on Almondbury tor. A mere few miles from my birth place, and a place I would always ask my parents to take me.

If anyone is interested, the tribe is the Brigantes.

It was a very interesting reading that I had from the psychic, mainly because she told me things I didn't know until I researched it.

Too funny. I just learned something new. So your ancestors are from southern Wales! A beautiful area, I have been there, did a lot of walking around the hills there in my late teens.
