Yes, a true friend can go weeks or months without talking & one day just pick up like you never were apart that long... well, mine do anyway.
I don’t like to ‘friend’ all the time. I’m a loyal friend, and will help them when needed & they the same.
Also- my dad always said ‘If someone is really your friend, they don’t have to say that they are your friend’.. They & you just know it.
