as with most ALL sectors and careers, it’s who you know and networking

I once believed it was necessary in terms of skills specific work, which still may be true in certain industries that do require a base level of expertise...but in my experience whether or not you have a degree, much of your knowledge will be acquired during on the job training.

I think that trend is dying. Education is the last thing I look at on a resume.
