Plastic straws are illegal...but what about Capri Sun straws?

@GlitterBug In my country, we are charge for buying plastic bags. I bring my own reusable cloth ones. I am certainly aware of how much plastic is part of our lives. I am intelligent, young lady. I also know that eliminating plastic bags and straws and other things that can be replaced is a small and necessary step.

Perhaps you could choose a career that would create positive change. Homelessness and other causes are great. You may start small and see what you can do. I am already a catalyst for change in the healthcare field. And that is what I concentrate on mostly. Justice and positive change. Good day to you.

I actually drove by the local dump today, it’s windy. Plastic bags EVERYWHERE. Quite depressing. @PoetryNEmotion

The first half of my response had to do with the USA only and the second half (which I neglected to separate) had to do with us as a whole world. My bad.

Ah okay. A little off topic but I was reading about some of the developments in removing plastic rom the ocean and they’re making really good progress already, it’s exciting. @IAmJess

@GlitterBug I haven't read much about it, but I did once see this boat that like literally ate the plastic from the front as it moved through the floating pile. Kinda cool.

But yeah, it needs to be dealt with. :)
