Why doesn't a pandemic exist in my dreams?

I just had a dream I was with a family eating Tennessee country food on a picnic table, did I just entered a parallel universe in my dreams?

It's all Tennessee country ham and black eyed peas, mac n cheese, greens, mashed potatoes, and chicken, porkchops.
