I Play With Fire, Literally

Poem I wrote because I do fire spinning.

Do you wonder how the spark
In my eye came to be

Well I'll tell you what the flame
Did to a person like me.

Scared away the pain from deep
in side of me

Made me feel like nothing else
Ever did for me.

You cannot tell this isn't real
there's no other way for me to deal
With the haunting memories that lie within me
The rush of the fire burns them away from me.
For a moment I'm not anything but a victory.
