I Love Oxymorons

Why do we drive on the parkways, and park on the driveways?

Why is it when something is transported by ship, it's called cargo, yet when something is transported by car it's called a shipment?

They built a fence, they built a wall....they built a "building?" - why don't they call them "builts"? ;-D
