"Crazy busy " is a great armor
It's a great way for numbing . We stay so busy and so out in front of our life ,that the truth of how we are feeling and what we really need can't catch up with us

I have been guilty of this. Its not the only reason that I hardly sleep and work so much but it is part of it yet I can't or don't stop. Stopping is not even desirable to me.
