I Hate Life's Unfairness

Honestly, you try hard in hard in life, your efforts don't pay off.
You meet someone who you think is going to be there for you and care for you. Turns out that distance is only intervening your friendship/relationship. And as soon as you open up to people, they suddenly fade out of your life and nobody is there for you any more.
I hate life's unfairness. But I guess that's life. What can we do about it?

You do what humans do. Adapt and overcome. Yes, life is unfair. However, it's not so unfair as to be impossible. While you don't necessarily need to rely on others for happiness, if you keep yourself out there, you'll find someone. You'll have to sift through a lot of garbage before you find someone worthwhile, but nothing worth having ever comes easily.
