I have made some great local friends from this and other sites over the years, including EP. It is wonderful when you have the opportunity to really get to know someone with the option or potential to actually meet as proximity is not an issue.
Personally I have always loved when an online friendship can make the jump, no matter the level of relationship that first took root in the virtual.
