What does it mean to you to be true to yourself?

It is deep within us at the soul level. We know when we are not being true to ourselves. The uncomfortable negative feelings are our soul telling us we are not being "real."

Yfma Are you saying that the soul telling us that we are not being real are bringing on the negative feelings. Because I don't think the soul would bring the negative feelings. I think the soul would be trying to remind us of our true self which are positive feelings.
