Lovely video and great quote by Seneca.
I don't think such a video would be made in a Western country and if it did, it would be called racist and xenophobe and God knows what else.

@Mugin16 Really? Why has it become so bad? I greatly admire and even envy the European way of life. But there are certain aspects I may not understand.

@novembermoon You are not alone. Some of us Europeans do not understand how we got that stupid too.
The words fatherland and motherland exist for a reason. We love our parents even if we are totally aware that they are not the smartest or the most affectionate ones. The same way we must love our land.

@novembermoon Yes. Why that has happened is difficult to answer. It might be the most important question of our time.
The ruling classes of Western countries have become transnational and globalist in their worldviews over the last 50 years. The people in media, arts and education have followed their lead. Only the working class, the lower middle class, older people and people living in the countryside are still patriotic and traditional. In consequence, they are despised and seen as inferior by the ruling class and their followers in media, arts and education.
That is what has happened. But why it has happened that way is hard to answer.

I love everything from this video. The message it conveys, the beautiful rubbers with flags of different countries, and the very insightful words from Seneca (my fellow Spanish countryman born in Cordoba 😊).
