I am writing a memoir about discovering my sexuality

I decided to write a chronological memoir of discovering my sexuality (mostly heterosexual but now bisexual) mainly as a piece of therapy. Have any of you done such writing? Was it helpful? I have always found journalling and reflecting helpful to get my thoughts onto paper.

I may share parts of this writing with close friends. Some of the writing is a result of email conversations with a couple of men here on SW.
