I Am Doing Good
Well at work there was a guy whose daughter ran away from home at 16 and he had to go and find her. He travelled to the next city to get her back from the people who led her astray and were a bad influence on her.
It involved a lot of travel and stress for him and when he finally got her back, both him and his wife were very relieved.
When the story came out at work he downplayed it and didn't really want to talk about it but everyone was supportive of him and wanted to support him.
Apart from one guy that said this meant, his daughter leaving home, that he was a shit father and he should be ashamed of himself.
Well, that really got him down and he wanted to leave the warehouse we work at, but everyone rallied round and he bounced back so much that he got a promotion! Over the head of the guy who said he was a shit father, so you can bet he regrets making those negative comments, right?
