what operating system do you use and why?

Linux for 99% of what I do. Runs fast, free to install on as many machines as I want without licensing issues. Updates when I want it to, not randomly like Windows. Updates tend to be reliable and not full of regressions. Doesn't spy on me deliberately to sell-on my data or whatever. I trust the standard of Linux code more than that of Microsoft and Apple for the other main competing systems. It has greater harder compatibility and range of software than BSD.

I’m not much of a surgeon myself but maybe I could use the old hammer method to put you out while I could use my handy dandy pliers to pull that tooth if you want. It won’t cost much .

I'm more tuned to windows as I've never used a Mac before.

Previously I used Ubuntu for around 4 years, Now using Windows 10

Mac, because I’ve had less trouble than I did with PCs.
