What’s the best way to deal with a child that hits?
A 5 year old child. She is a sweet girl but constantly lays her hand on me and others. I have scolded her many times but nothing..

Hit or smack her once on her hands hard right after she hits. So she immediately knows what it was for. That is the only way for her to realize that she will get it back. Or someone stronger than her in school will do that and it will evolve in a bigger conflict with their parents teachers etc I did it with my son when he was 4 ,he gave me that WTF look then couple of more talks and that was it.
