I think this post is incredibly sweet and even though it's a long time for me to think back to I can still relate to those feelings of insecurity.
You have to relax though and go with the flow. When two people try to stay in touch 24/7 one side is eventually going to feel a need to back away a bit so don't push it, if anything make sure you're not the one always sending the new texts, if he's a bit slow replying give him space and let him worry a bit about you going off the boil rather than taking your interest for granted. Chasing each other is much more fun than one side doing all the chasing.
He certainly doesn't sound like he has lost interest in you though :)

@Linda77 thank you :) I appreciate the words. I do let him text me first and Usually he is the first one to. if he leaves me on read I won’t usually reply as I’m careful not to bother him. When we were first deciding on a day to hang out, he sent me a picture of his entire schedule for the month and I will say that I noticed he works a ton too. I know that a lot of it is in my head and like I said, instead or projecting my insecurities onto him, I try to deal with them by myself :)

First of all, I think irl indications are much more indicative than online 1s.
Also, I'm a super-sweet guy & I'll give lots of verbal & non-verbal indications if I'm really enjoying the other person's company. When it comes to online though, I'm trying to amuse myself as much as I'm looking to be amused & I usually end up taking the piss a fair bit, if not more, because I'm about 5% as stimulated as talking face-to-face. I also try to conserve interesting news/topics for actual meetings, so I often type something uninteresting instead. I also don't initiate many chats online, because I'm not particularly motivated.
I hope you see the point I'm making.
