it was in the 2016 election, when trump or Hillary were the only actual choices.

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to know that Jill never had a chance, but I’d rather people whine about me “ throwing away a vote.” Than to have thrown my support at either one of those “ deplorable” individuals.

There is no such thing as throwing away a vote. If you vote for an alternative party, it is your expression of dissatisfaction with the principal parties. The unforgivable thing is not voting.
